Are your courses approved by the state of Iowa?
Yes! Iowa Real Estate Academy is Approved School #270 with the Iowa Real Estate Commission (IREC). All certificates issued are officially recognized for licensing and CE renewal.
Can I take the 60-Hour Pre-License class online via Zoom?
Yes! We offer live, interactive Zoom sessions where you can ask questions in real time with certified Iowa instructors.
What additional courses are required for a first-time salesperson license?
In addition to the 60-Hour Pre-License course, Iowa requires three additional courses totaling 30 hours: 12-hr Buying Practices, 12-hr Listing Practices, and 6-hr Developing Professionalism & Ethics.
When do Iowa real estate licenses need to be renewed?
Iowa licenses are on a 3-year triennial cycle ending December 31st. Active salespersons and brokers require 36 hours of approved CE (including 8hr Law Update and 4hr Ethics).
